Last Saturday was a very exciting day! We had tickets for Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee Armed Forces Parade and Muster in the grounds of Windsor Castle. The Parade and Muster was the first time all three services had visited The Queen for a dedicated event. 2500 Armed Forces and over 3000 family, friends and veterans gathered in Home Park (Private) Windsor Castle
My lovely parents came too and we had a wonderful day together

We had a fly past from Windsor go right over the garden- three sets of helicopters ( all types) in diamond formation-amazing.If I was the Queen I'd like a fly past at least once a week!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, thanks for popping by to say hello! How lovely for you to have the flypast go over your garden, I agree it was amazing! The flypasts do make the day very special!
DeleteThanks again, hugs, Charlotte x
What a wonderful day you had, we enjoyed watcheing it on tv, it was amazing. The only downside for me as a mother was seeing so many young ones with medals, my concern for what they'd had to do to be reward with such.
ReplyDeleteI think we can all be proud of our forces,Mum looked like royalty in her lovely outfit and the pride shows on her face for her family.
We travelled to our Lincolnshire holiday getaway on Thursday and were privilidged to see a practice display by the Red Arrows as we drove along.
I'm a very happy customer of yours on ebay so can recommend your fabric it's gorgeous.
Enjoy your weekend
